Is there a fee for parking in the Campus Center Parking Garage?
We offer unrestricted in/out parking to all our guest for a nominal fee of $6 per night. Parking is good until 5pm on the day of your departure, so long as the vehicle is registered with the front desk. Certain group/departmental rates (may) include complimentary parking. Please contact the hotel main desk at 877-822-2100, to confirm. Garage restriction is 7'2".
Is there a bus line that stops at Hotel UMass?
Yes, the Peter Pan Bus Line conveniently stops at The UMass Campus with a stop located the UMass Fine Arts Center.
Can I charge my electric car at UMass Hotel?
UMass is part of the Chargepoint EV network with nearly a dozen charging locations on campus. Please visit the Chargepoint website for pricing information.

Where can I park when I arrive on campus?
Enter the campus center parking garage, and park on level 2. Then walk into the concourse via the hallway and take the elevators to the 3rd level (hotel lobby). Once you get to the lobby, please register your vehicle(s) with the front desk.
Reservations
What age must I be to check into Hotel UMass?
The person whose name is on the reservation must be at least 18 years of age. Photo Identification is required upon check-in and a valid credit card.
Can I add a rollaway, fridge or crib to my reservation?
The cots and refrigerators are offered upon request and are each $25+ tax per night. Cribs are complimentary.
I booked my reservation though another website, how do I change or cancel it?
Contact the booking agent used to make the reservation.
Do you have connecting rooms?
I would like to pay for someone else hotel reservation, what do I do?
We can provide you with a Credit Card Authorization form.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Certain reservation types and blackout dates have a separate cancellation policy which is stated on the confirmation letter.
General
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check in time is any time after 3:00pm and check out time is by 11:00am. Any checkout after 11am will be subjected to a late checkout fee.
What is needed at check in and accepted forms of payment?
Please make sure to note your license plate information for check-in. Parking fee $6 per day per vehicle. Additionally, a valid pictured ID is required along with a form of payment; a credit card will be required for incidentals. The UMass Hotel accepts major Credit Cards, Cash and Travelers Checks. No personal checks will be accepted unless deposited seven days prior to arrival.
Does the UMass Hotel have quiet hours?
Yes, the UMass Hotel has a guest courtesy policy which state that quiet hours begin at 10:00pm.
Is wireless internet available?
We offer complimentary wireless internet for our guest rooms, lobby and the entire campus.
Is the UMass Hotel non-smoking?
Yes. All rooms are non-smoking.
Is the UMass Hotel pet friendly?
Pets are welcome at Hotel UMass with an additional one time pet fee of $50. No fee will be charged for service animals.

Is the UMass Hotel affiliated with any hotel chains?
No. We are run by the University of Massachusetts. The UMass Hotel is a teaching hotel and the majority of our employees are UMass students in the Hospitality and Tourism Management major.
Does a Hotel have a business center?
Copy Service will be available at Front Desk.
Is there a gym or pool at the UMass Hotel?
Guests have complimentary access to the Body Shop in Totman Gym during the academic year. Guests have complimentary access to Recreation Center and campus pool.

Food
What is included in the complimentary continental breakfast?
Complimentary breakfast is offered from 7am to 10am and it includes a variety of fresh baked pastries, muffins, bagels, yogurt, cereal, granola, coffee, juice, tea and an assortment of fresh fruit.
Is there a bar at the Hotel?
We have a bar in The Commonwealth Restaurant located on the top floor of Worcester Commons.

Does the hotel require a deposit for incidentals?
Yes, the hotel requires $50.00
How can deposit for incidentals be held?
With either a credit card or debt card.
When will the incidental deposit be returned to my debit or credit card?
The incidential deposit is released on the day of your departure at midnight. Your bank will then have to post the transaction to your account.
